Lush Hair: Just A Woman Campaign

Challenge:
On International Women’s Day, the focus is usually on celebrating extraordinary women in history, often overlooking the everyday woman. Many of these women juggle multiple responsibilities, leaving little time for self-care. Even something as simple as getting their hair done, which can be a confidence booster, feels like a luxury they cannot prioritize.
Insight:
We created a docu-series to celebrate everyday women, selecting those who rarely have the chance to get their hair done, and treating them to a transformational makeover. But this wasn’t just about beauty, it was about listening to their stories, their struggles, and what being a woman means to them. It was also about redefining how we celebrate women on IWD.
The campaign resonated with many women who saw their own experiences reflected in the stories. The docu-series generated high engagement across social media, reinforcing Lush Hair’s commitment to inclusivity and its recognition of the beauty of the everyday woman . It also served as a strong reminder that every woman is enough, just as she is.
